We are sensitive to the needs of many of our Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah clients to follow strict Jewish traditions, such as a required blessing of the vessel by a Rabbi prior to the event. We will easily accommodate this ritual, as well as an adherence to a strictly kosher cuisine. Our company can either provide kosher food by an outside Jewish chef or we will allow you to utilize your own kosher catering. Holiday Parties

Most holiday parties are in the months of November to December starting immediately after Thanksgiving, and throughout this extremely busy period, weekends book up quickly. Many companies start planning their parties in May or June, so it’s never too soon to start booking your annual event. Even if you’re running late in booking your holiday bash, our company will make every effort accommodate all corporate clients.

Whether your firm prefers the freedom and simplicity of a cocktail cruise or the more formal pleasures of a sit-down menu charter, there are no limitations to the type of charters each company can request (though minimum guests could apply to certain yachts.)

With dance floors and state-of-the-art sound systems that provide three different music settings to set the right mood on any level of one of our yachts. Students are able to create a different ambience for each room, giving every student a chance to enjoy different aspects of the party. A fully operational DJ booth on the main floor allows a live emcee to spin tracks by special request.

For parents and faculty that may have misgivings about allowing their children and students to book proms or graduation parties on our yachts, Island Queen Cruises & Tours understands and shares your concerns. That’s why our first and most important concern is safety. Each of our eight vessels is routinely inspected twice per year and certified as safe by the United States Coast Guard, a status that is necessary to secure our occupational license and obtain insurance. Copies of insurance certificates are provided to anyone who requests them.

Parents and administrators also worry about maintaining proper adult supervision to ensure that the party stays in control. We address this issue by overstaffing our vessel with food servers, managers, mates and other employees who are constantly roaming the vessel and maintaining a watchful eye on the proceedings. Prior to the event, our company will remove any and every alcoholic beverage from the vessel to quash any possibility of liquor reaching the children. All bags and purses are searched prior to boarding to keep out unwanted substances. Our company maintains that the entire experience will be safe and instrumental in providing your school and children with wholesome memories that will last a lifetime.
